I 100% agree that laws, policy and legislation need to be passed to stop unverified searches or swattings …scams are getting worse and worse these days…people are sinking to new lows to get money and or vengeance…I hope these sickos get thrown in jail asap…
First, the people who blame the person are fools. The people who are responsible are the government agents not the person who made the call.
The government agents are personally responsible for their own actions. They do these raids because they are psychopathic thugs who enjoy this and use this that persons call as an excuse to terrorize others.
The person’s call does not make these POS do anything. It’s just an excuse for them to do what they love.
My solution is simply have the courage to resist it with force. If I get SWATED and I am able. I will resist it with force. This is the only way to stop these quickly and for good.
You need to live free and have the courage to enforce your liberty with self-defense.
Until people are willing and start to defend themselves; these will never go away and will only get worse.

If you ever get on a jury for any American who is being charged for defending themselves from a SWATing you must acquit them immediately of all charges.
Self defense from this is a right and if you see someone being run through the courts for killing these thugs in self-defense. You must acquit them of all charged immediately. Showing this is unacceptable and everyone has a right and must resist this with force.

Wow… this really stinks. I’m so sorry you are dealing with this. Our house burned down when my middle son was in 6th grade… he had serious reactions to any kind of alarm due to the fire alarm going off… for about 5 years. This was so cruel for someone to do to you and your family. I am sorry that this happened. Be careful out there Ben. We need you!
This made me so sad to hear. I am deeply sorry your family especially your children went through such a scary and traumatic experience. It’s very alarming to know people are out there doing this to people.

My heart goes out to you and your family. I feel this swatting activity is way over the line, as you explained kids and family being involved is extremely appalling and unexceptable. Such a good video. Thank you, Ben for being so transparent and vulnerable in your video. This took a lot of courage. So thankful the SWAT team kept their cool and also so thankful you and your wife were able to stay calm and just follow SWAT’s instructions. Too many times, people start arguing or talking back and things get escalated.
I know God was certainly in control of that situation and kept you guys safe.

I’m sorry that you and your family went through this. I have never had this happen and would be very upset if it did. I appreciate all you do for me and the community. I hope you will not waver from that. I also hope you are doing all that you can to protect your family and yourself. It has been my experience (with criminals)that they won’t stop until they are caught or they get what ever sick satisfaction they want. Take care.

I’m glad you mentioned attempted murder so people know how serious this was. I think education and training may go further than regulation, but I think you are on the right track. Non-emergency calls without geo-location should be considered as a possible prank call, and not be allowed to escalate without confirmation. At least a note to the swat team with a trustworthiness level along with the threat level so the team has the right emotional state could help.
Sorry to see this happen to your family. You are a pioneer Dude, watch your back. To me it looks like who ever did this was hoping you would over react and accidentally get killed by swat. Keep your head about you and expect things to ratchet up as you push forward. Stay strong brother…
