When Someone Gives Up On Crypto

Part of capitulation in the bear market is when many people totally give up. There's probably nothing that's going to bring them back except when they come back in later at the wrong time: after new all-time highs. It's better to just focus on the people that haven't given up and encourage each other.

  1. I believe it is safe to say that the average man who goes to Wall Street in search of quick cash as a margin trader, speculator, gambler, etc., does not incur a loss upon selling. When he shops, he spends it all and then some. The “dear public,” the fleecy lambs, the most guileless victims, always make the most money at the start of a stock market boom. Ultimately, they lose both their profit and principal because they have no idea when to stop winning.

  2. I started in crypto after the Saturday night live pump. Perfect timing huh? Been getting slaughtered ever since. Haven’t given up though.

    1. @Kevin Chow worst time was when i got in, during the pump in 2021 april/may time. Getting in whenever during a bear market when most coins are down 60-95% is not a bad time to get in. Just dont sit and watch your portfolio.

  3. Still hanging in .. rule 1 , use only money you can afford to lose … rule 2, think 3 to 5 years ….rule 3, do your own research –

  4. Encouraging other to continue to lose money. Makes sense. Hey guys, we’re down 30% YTD, let’s hold for another week and make it 35%!

  5. I bought doge in 2018 it was about 10456 and I gave up on crypto , the 2021 everyone was screaming doge bla bla only to find I had bought two eth and I had alot of doge .

Sometimes you just buy with the little you have and just forget

  6. Down $27,000 and still DCA’ing. I’ve been in since 2021 and I had no clue what I was doing a year ago. I’m still learning how to do this, but all I know is I don’t wanna miss this train (again). As long as I have my job, I’ll continue to buy and hold.
